By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. We recommend that you read these carefully before using our website or purchasing our products.

Products and Availability

All our jewellery is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product without notice. While we aim to ensure that all product details, descriptions, and prices appearing on the website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or availability of any product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to reconfirm or cancel your order.

All products remain the property of Othilia Jewels ApS until full payment has been received.

 

Custom Orders

We offer bespoke and made-to-order jewellery. Once a custom design is confirmed and production has begun, the order is binding and non-refundable. Please ensure all design details and ring sizes are correct at the time of confirmation.

We reserve the right to decline custom orders that are outside the scope of our design ethos or technical capabilities.

 

Prices and Payment

All prices on our website are listed in DKK and include 25% Danish VAT, unless otherwise stated.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa / Mastercard
  • MobilePay (might be a payment limit here)
  • Bank transfer (for custom orders, where applicable)

The total amount will be charged at checkout unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Delivery

We offer worldwide shipping. All shipments within Denmark are handled by GLS, and international deliveries are handled by reliable courier services. Only shipping within Denmark is complimentary. 

Estimated delivery time:

  • Delivery: 4–7 weeks (our products are made-to-order)
  • Custom items: 6-8 weeks

All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services or customs clearance.

 

6. Right of Withdrawal (Fortrydelsesret)

According to Danish Consumer Contracts Act ("Forbrugeraftaleloven"), you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the item.

Exceptions:
 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or bespoke jewellery
  • Items that are engraved or altered at your request

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at hello@othiliajewels.com within 14 days of receiving your item. You must return the item unused and in original packaging, and you bear the cost of return shipping.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, provided it is returned in original condition.

 

Returns and Exchanges

If your product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund under the Danish Sale of Goods Act ("Købeloven"). Please contact us within a reasonable time (typically within 2 months) of discovering the issue at am@othiliajewels.com.

All return claims will be evaluated, and we reserve the right to assess whether the defect falls under warranty or results from misuse or wear and tear.

Warranty

Under Danish law, all products are covered by a 2-year warranty. This covers manufacturing defects, not general wear, misuse, accidental damage, or failure to follow care instructions.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law. For more details, please refer to our [Privacy Policy].

 

Intellectual Property

All content on www.othiliajewels.com, including designs, images, text, and logos, is the intellectual property of Othilia Jewels ApS and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written consent.

 

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising from purchases or use of the website will be settled by Danish courts, with the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) as the first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
